#348 easily pleased

Another wonderful day! I didn't really do anything super-exciting, but I was busy and got lots of stuff done and just had a nice day.

My furry alarm dog (that would be Osi) woke me up around 7 am. She is all feet and nose! I got up and started talking to MT about stuff, then we decided to go shopping for a new tree. We wanted to get one of those pre-lit trees because everyone knows that stringing the lights is the biggest pain in the patoot.

We actually went to Wal-Mart - we rarely shop there - and found a nice size tree at a pretty good price. While we were there, we decided to do our grocery shopping. I have to say that I really liked it. Wal-Mart has a much bigger selection of products than the store I normally go to and the prices were quite a bit less on the same items that I buy at my regular store. I might have to shop at Wal-mart more often. I was pretty happy with my visit until it was time to check out. We had to wait in line for quite awhile. There was only one family in front of us, and it didn't seem like they had that many groceries, but it took what seemed like 20 minutes for their check-out to get done. It looked like they were splitting their order or something.

When we got home, I took Osi for a walk at the field by the fitness center. It snowed quite a bit yesterday and they hadn't plowed the path, so I just let her run through the fields. She had first tracks. It's kind of a pity to mess up the pretty snow, but it's so cool to watch her run through the snow. She loves it. She puts her nose down in it and shuffles along. I was all bundled up in layers of clothing and with my big snow boots and a hat and gloves so I was good to go. It was a nice walk.

We had steak and spaghetti (leftovers from the restaurant last night) for a late lunch/early dinner. It was delicious and filling. After that, we put up our Christmas decorations and trimmed the tree.

I finally sat down quiety tonight to watch a little TV, and that was good, too. Now I think I'm going to soak in the bathtub for a few minutes before I go to bed. I've got a busy week coming up. Let me tell you about it. On Monday T has basketball practice. Tuesday is "The Biggest Loser" finale (love that show). Wednesday MT and I will be going to dinner with some friends from my work. Thursday Osi, T and I will have our final puppy training class. Friday night is Granite's Christmas party. My in-laws will be returning from their cruise on Saturday afternoon. I think they're coming over for a bite of dinner and then driving to Pocatello.

I don't usually like to soak in my tub, but for some reason, it sounds really nice right now, so I'm going to do it. Have a great week. Be safe and be kind.
