Tonight I am thankful that the election cycle is over. And yes, I am pleased with the results of the Presidential election. I have no idea if Joe Biden will be a good President. What I do think is true is that I won't be cringing every day for the next four years about the words coming out of Biden's mouth or out of his Twitter account. I think he is a good person, even for a politician!
I found Trump to be rude and a bully. It's not about "political correctness" to me. It's about being polite and having respect for people. I don't like name-calling: Pocahontas, Sleepy Joe, Crooked Hillary - I disliked it when Trump did that. Don't even get me started on the lying and the way he talked about the media (with the exception of Fox News, of course). Trump seems like a person of poor character and as I've aged, I've come to appreciate a person's character and morals more and more.
On a positive note, the fact that a woman has been elected Vice President is thrilling.
