#2435 weekend wrap-up

I really don't do anything on Saturdays. My major accomplishment on Saturday is that I nap. Anything besides napping is kind of a bonus really. I mentioned last time I wrote that my allergies were making me miserable. I finally found some allergy meds that dried up my sinuses and didn't make me too groggy. However, the uncomfortable-ness of the sniffling and sneezing and the lack of sleep caused by those two things hit me on Saturday morning. I woke up around 7:30, got up and moved around and all that, but I ended up sleeping from 10:00 to about 1:30. After that I didn't have much energy for anything else. Looking back, I think that's okay. If there is one thing I have learned during these Uncertain Times, it's that you have to take care of yourself. If my body wants me to sleep on Saturday morning, I'm going to give in to my body's wishes and sleep. I was able to get to sleep pretty easily at night, but when I got home from picking T up from work, I had a hard time getting back to sleep. T is a night owl and even though my door was closed, I could hear him moving around. Of course Mac wanted to hang out with both of us, so she was flitting back and forth between our rooms. MT had acid reflux so he was downstairs on the couch. Today I got a few things done and I took a short nap during the Saints/Bucs football game. There is nothing like a Sunday afternoon football nap. It's just so good. So here we are, 9:30 on Sunday night. No, I didn't accomplish everything I wanted to this weekend and that's okay. I finished a book. I started on a project that I've been putting off. I've been thinking and writing. I painted my fingernails tonight with the new polish I bought myself and I really like it. It's the little things, you know? Hope you had a great weekend and have something to look forward to this week :)

  1. We had a sort of do nothing Sunday. L watched tennis and earlier went for a hike. We had Reventacos for dinner, that's about it :)
