This day totally flew by! Let's see...what did I do? Well, it was around 9:00 when I got out of bed (that's around 8:00 in standard time, so I didn't feel too bad.) I spent some time balancing my checking account. Yes, I am one of the rare people who actually do that exercise each month.
I went to yoga. I threw in some laundry and puttered around a little, and suddenly it was 2:00. MT and I went out for a bite of lunch and to see the movie "John Carter". That was clearly MT's choice. I am not a science fiction fan, but he really wanted to see the movie and I knew he wouldn't go by himself so I volunteered. I confess that I napped a little once or twice. I got the gist of it. It's just not really my thing.
After the show, which seemed long, we came home and got the kid and went to the shoe store, but it was closed. T is going to be on the track team and needs some new cross-trainers. We'll get them tomorrow. We went to the grocery store and when we got home, it was 8:00! I called my dad, threw in some more laundry, cleaned up the kitchen, changed the sheets on my bed - Oh how I love clean sheets! - finished up paying the bills and here we are, 9:46 pm.
I'm looking forward to a great week. The NCAA men's basketball tournament starts on Thursday. It's my absolute favorite sports event of the year, even more than the baseball playoffs. It's just two weeks of excitement! AND...I think MT and I are ready to pull the trigger and go ahead and book our vacation! YAHOO!! Plus, this is T's last week of being 13. His birthday is a week from Monday.
Have a great week, everyone!
