#1342 the empire grows plus bonus basketball clip!

We bought another property today! Well, we signed the mountain of papers and made the down payment. We will actually take possession of it on Monday or Tuesday. MT will be working on pretty much every surface in every room, but we think that it might be a potential "flip" meaning that we will try to sell it once it's all fixed up. If we can't get the price we want, we'll just keep it as a rental.

MT loves the rentals. I have made my peace with the whole situation and I will admit that when the houses are all occupied and everyone is paying their rent, it has been good. MT is a very handy man and can do just about all the work on the places that needs to be done. He will hire an electrician and sometimes a plumber. We had to have some glass replaced in the windows at one of the places and he hired a guy to do that, but mostly he does it all himself. When he talks about moving a sink from one wall to another, I'm kind of amazed that he knows how to do stuff like that.

I haven't been in this new house, which we call the "rambling rambler", but I am assured by MT and our realtor Bruce that it's a real dive. MT believes that he can make it really nice. It will be fun to watch the process. The plan is for T and Trent to lend a hand and make a little money on the weekends.
