#2086 getting binge-y with it

I have spent a lot of time sitting on my couch watching TV this weekend.

MT and I watched all eight episodes of the Amazon series Jack Ryan. We thought it was excellent. John Krasinski played Jack Ryan and he was terrific. We also liked Wendell Pierce as Greer a whole bunch. The series was well done. I think Tom Clancy would have approved. We watched three episodes on Friday, three more on Saturday and the last two on Sunday. Honestly, I think if we hadn't started so late on Friday night, we might have watched it all in one sitting. It was that good.

Today has been my biggest TV watching day. I was doing stuff on Saturday and Sunday, so today I was more able to relax and chill. I watched the movie To All the Boys I've Loved Before on Netflix this afternoon while MT was gone. He's not really into rom-coms and I was happy to watch it by myself. It was absolutely adorable and charming and sweet and wonderful. As you know, I like YA fiction and this book (and it's sequels) have been on my list for awhile. I will still read the books. Now I'll have the cute faces of the lead actress and actor in my head when I read.

When I turned off Netflix, my TV was set to the SyFy channel. I guess MT had been watching something on that channel last night or something. Anyway, that channel was running all the Harry Potter movies. I got in toward the end of Order of the Phoenix, so I watched that and then came my favorite one, Half Blood Prince. Now I'm watching Deathly Hallows Part 1. I don't know if I'll be able to stay up for the whole movie or the next one though. I really love all the Harry Potter movies and books. I'll watch any of these movies no matter where they are in the show.

I started out the weekend on Friday with a matinee of Crazy Rich Asians. Believe the hype on this one friends. It is delightful! It was romantic and beautiful. I giggled and I cried and I left wanting more more more. Of course the movie is based on a book that has been on my list for a long time. It will probably be really hard to get the book from the library now.

Mom, I'm going to tell you right now that I will probably watch all of these shows again. They were just so delightful that once is not enough!
