#2098 Saturday with Sandy

First of all, I'm sorry for the foul language in my last post. The whole situation bothers me and I didn't have good control of my words. I apologize if any of the seven of you who read this were offended. Of course, all seven of you know me and are already aware of my potty mouth.

Let's move on.

It makes me sad that Osi doesn't understand the difference between weekdays and weekends. She lurches up to my room gently but noisily reminding me that it's time for her to go outside. This morning it happened around 6. I let her out, looked at my phone for awhile then fell back to sleep until just after 9. After that, it was on!

First stop, WW, which is what it's really called now. I was up two tenths of a pound, which isn't awesome, but isn't terrible either. We talked a little about the name change and the change of focus, or expansion of focus from weight loss to overall wellness. Okay. I'm sure there will be more on this at the next meeting when the full roll-out happens.

After the meeting - wait, we don't call them meetings anymore, we now call them workshops - I headed up to Red Butte Garden to check out what is blooming. Yes, there are still flowers blooming at the end of September, not as many, but still. Some of the trees are starting to change colors. The temperature today was pleasantly cool and as usual, it was totally gorgeous there.

I went to Old Navy this afternoon and bought a few things. I like Old Navy.

I also got my eyebrows waxed. It doesn't hurt, but it's not pleasant either. When it was over and the receptionist was taking my money, she asked me how everything went. I kinda laughted and told her that having tiny hairs ripped out of my brow bone always seems to go well.  Am I right?

This evening I watched the Utah football game. They played much better but still lost. We all had such high hopes for the team this season, but now they are 0-2 in the conference and 2-2 overall and I just don't imagine them doing some of the things we hoped. There are still a bunch of games to play. Hopefully they can get everything working like it should.

I have been sitting on my couch for many hours now. After the game, I watched the movie The Mountain Between Us. It stars Kate Winslet and Idris Elba. It was all right. Then I watched a bit of an old Ghost Adventures episode and now I'm watching Saturday Night Live. I thought it started at 10:30 here, but it really started at 9:30 which I didn't discover until 10, so I missed the first half hour.

You know what? I haven't made my skillet pizza yet. I also haven't had the chocolate salted caramel mug cake either. Maybe tomorrow.

Can you believe tomorrow is the last day of September?
