My friend Justin went to Iceland for two weeks last year. Every once in awhile he will tell me stories about his adventures there. Today there was a story about a pro wrestler sized man selling mini donuts at 3:30 in the morning in Reykjavik on the night before a gay pride parade. There were stories about the one-way tunnels through the mountains, an innkeeper named Suna and a Navy plane on a black sand beach. Justin always mentions seeing beautiful waterfalls, and breathtaking fjords and awesome hikes.
There's nothing like hearing stories from people who have been someplace, loved it and love to talk about it. I've never thought of Iceland as a vacation destination, but Justin's stories make it seem pretty tempting!
