I've just got some random stuff to talk about tonight.
My bracket is busted. Ohio State lost, so I'm done. I picked them to win it all. Like I said, it's nice to be in first place after the first weekend of the tournament, but it doesn't mean anything until after the national championship game. Oh well. Maybe next year. Go Butler!
T and I went to the eye doctor today and I got some cool new contacts. They are multi-focal lenses - bifocal contacts! That means I don't need my cheater spectacles anymore. It's amazing!
T has one eye that works perfectly well and the other eye doesn't work well. The eye doctor suggested a contact for the one eye or glasses. T hates both ideas. I told him he has to wear his glasses at home at least. The thing is, we got the glasses he had when he was 8 or 9 years old and they are way small on his face now. We'll have to get him some new ones. The doctor said if he didn't wear the glasses he could develop lazy eye. We don't want that.
Have you read "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen? Terrific book! The best book I've read this year, hands down. I hated to put it down. I couldn't wait to find out what happens next. The best ending of a book I've read in a long time. Read it.
MT's sister and her sweetheart are visiting us this weekend. We just got back from dinner at Iggy's. I should get back downstairs and visit, but I thought that if I didn't write now, I'd be too tired and wouldn't get to it.
