Lately in the mornings on my way to work and in the office I've been listening to Chunga and Tysen on 101.9 The End, a local radio station. In October, they always do a bunch of things about ghosts and paranormal stuff leading up to Halloween. I'm not exactly sure how much I believe in that stuff, but I know that when I hear them talk about it, the hair on my arms and the back of my neck stands up and I get a little creeped out.
I don't like scary movies, especially gory horror-type movies. Occasionally, I do enjoy a movie that will creep me out a little, like the Nicole Kidman movie, "The Others" or "The Sixth Sense". Some friends at work told me about a movie called "The Fourth Kind" that's creepy; maybe I'll watch that. It will have to be during the day, though, when I can do a bunch of stuff afterward so I won't be traumatized.
Chunga has been talking about some experiences he's had here in SLC at the Old Mill and at This Is the Place Heritage Park. This month, Chunga and Tysen are going to do a ghost investigation of a house somewhere in the city. Although I get the heebie-jeebies, I still want to hear about it. Weird huh?
A friend of mine at work also likes to go on ghost hunting adventures. She's told me about a couple of places she's been and what she's experienced. Again, when she talks about it, I get that creepy feeling. I don't think I would want to go to those places, but sometimes I think it's interesting to hear about it. It makes me wonder...
