It was another Chamber of Commerce day in So Cal. The sky was blue, the breeze was nice, the sun was warm. Since Dad had dialysis this morning, Mom and I decided to go to Huntington Beach for lunch. We wanted to go to Ruby's Diner on the pier. There was a little bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The food was good and it was nice to spend some time with my mom.
The beach was pretty full of people and there were lots of surfers. The waves didn't seem that big (but what do I know?) but it looked like everyone was having fun. I thought it was a little chilly for bikinis, but there were plenty of girls wearing them. I guess if you are visiting from a cold-weather place and this was your chance for some California sun, you'd put on your bikini. There was lots of really white flesh on display :)
Mom and I then went to the hospital to visit with Dad for awhile, then we came home and I went back to visit Dad alone. I liked being able to spend time with each of my parents.
