Happy March everyone!
For many years, my least favorite month of the year was February. Even though it has the least number of days, it always felt like the longest month. Maybe because here in Utah, February is the smack-dab middle of winter, and sometimes it really seems that spring will never come in February.
In 2006, MT and I took our first vacation where we didn't go visit family and we went in February. We went on a two week Caribbean cruise, and it sort of changed our lives. :D For a few years, we vacationed in the Caribbean in February and it was pretty glorious. That was when T was in a year-round elementary school and we could schedule his off-track time to be in February. Now, of course, he's in junior high and they are on a traditional schedule, so now we take our vacation in the summer, like most people.
It's a little tougher for me because the work my company does is seasonal and we are pretty much rolling in June. It's all good, though. We went on vacation in June last year and I felt ok with my work load when I got back home.
I say all this because we are now in full Vacation Quest mode. I think we've pretty much decided where we will go, and we're just waiting to hear back from our travel agent about where we will stay and we'll also figure out exactly how long we can be there. I really favor a ten-day vacation. I find that I start fully relaxing and not thinking about much at all after about three days. Then I like to have a full week to completely enjoy where I am. And after ten days, I am ready to come home.
Hopefully we will get the trip planned and maybe even booked this month. I really hope so. I love having something to look forward to!

Is you trip to Europe/Sweden this summer? I do hope you will come and especially in summer when Sweden is most beautiful.
You know you're more than welcome!
