#2021 March wrap-up

My mom writes a blog and at the end of the month she recaps highs and lows from the month that is ending. I thought it might be fun to wrap up my month here too. Let's see:
  • I went to the gym 21 times and took 17 classes. I pay $35.50/month, so my cost per visit came to $1.69 per visit in March. I got my money's worth.
  • From my weigh-in on Feb 24 to my weigh-in on March 31, I lost 4.2 lbs.
  • I finished three books.
  • I watched two movies.
  • I talked to my mom and sister 11 times including separate calls and three-way calls.
  • I made eight trips back and forth from Salt Lake to Provo.
  • MT and I went to two Jazz games.
  • I got a haircut.
  • I participated in a Twitter-based book club.
  • I gave myself 17 tasks/goals I wanted to accomplish in March. I only missed doing five of them. 12 out of 17 is pretty good.
  • My Lent promise to not swear didn't happen, but I am more aware of my cussing and I think I minimized it somewhat.
  • My son turned 20 and graduated from rehab.
  • A few stats about this blog:
    • In March there 2343 2,833 page views
    • The most looked at post was #2012 weekend wrap-up with 129 views
    • The top three places the blog was viewed from were South Korea (1792), US (842) and Poland (111). Hi everyone!
Looking forward to April events:
  • Hoping to get tickets for the Bluebird Cafe Concert Series at Sundance Resort. Tickets go on sale Monday.
  • Also hoping to get tickets to see Jimmy Buffett in concert. He'll be here in October. Tickets go on sale Wednesday.
  • Lots of stuff happening on the 12th, the best being the Justin Timberlake concert.
  • In the middle of the month, I'll go visit my mom fro a long weekend.  Hopefully my sister will be able to come up for a day too.
  • Lindsay White house concert on the 21st.
  • Hamilton on the 22nd!
  • Although this doesn't affect me in the slightest, my sister is going to Scotland in April. #vicariousvacation
  • I'm hoping that the Jazz will make it into the NBA playoffs. We'll find out when the regular season ends in April.
  • Baseball season is here and I'd like to get out to the ballpark here in SLC to watch at least one game this month.
  • I'll be getting back into the swing of volunteering at Red Butte Garden as I start recording blooms in the Children's Garden.
  • Hitting some golf balls is definitely on my want-to-do list.
March is going out like a lamb. It's supposed to be 70 degrees here tomorrow. If you're into it, happy Easter. If you're not into it, enjoy the first day of April. Hope no one makes a fool of you!

I like the wrap ups. I find them very useful especially looking back, sometimes relying only on your memory is not enough (for me)
