#2169 just a sample

We are back from our glorious Thai adventure! We had such a great time in both Cambodia and Thailand. I just set up my computer and I haven't downloaded all my photos yet, but since I was making sure the computer was hooked up correctly, I thought I may as well post a few photos. Hopefully the pics will whet your appetite to come back to see and read more about this trip.

We had four excursions that were booked before we went over, and we booked one through the hotel. I've got six photos to share right now, and that includes the bonus kayak adventure.

Here we are in front of the magnificent Angkor Wat. It was everything I wanted it to be. Spectacular.

At our hotel in Krabi, we borrowed a kayak and went for a paddle out in the lagoon. It wasn't deep; MT got out to snorkel (not many fish though). I had never done anything like it and I was pretty tickled at my bravery.

One of our excursions was to the Tiger Cave Temple. It was quite a hike to the top, and I was glad to be rewarded with this magnificent view of Krabi town.

The excursion we booked through the hotel was going island hopping on a longtail boat. One of the stops was Poda Island where this iconic karst is a symbol of the islands in the Krabi area. Our guide, Leng, took this photo.

Over in Phuket, we took a tour of Phang-Nga Bay which included a canoe ride through some caves. Again, I was nervous about getting in this little canoe, but all I had to do was sit there and take photos while a local guy paddled us around. He did stop and take about a jillion photos of us, but this is a selfie.

Also in Phuket, on the final day of our vacation we took a speedboat tour out to the Phi Phi Islands. This photo is taken at Bamboo Island. Look how clear that water is! Yes, that is me in the water even though I know there were all kinds of fish in that sea. The water was so warm and so clear and so incredible that I couldn't help but putter about as long as possible.

Oh friends, I cannot wait to relive my adventures here and share stories and photos. Every day (almost) was so, so cool and fun and interesting. I predict that you will tire of me and my photos long before I tire of showing and telling :)
