All day long I have been reminding myself that today is Tuesday. It's a holiday week, and the office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. I get to work from home tomorrow, and I anticipate that it might be a short day. Today is even better than a Friday, but I still thought it was Friday, so I had to remind myself that it is Tuesday.
During my lunch break today I went to the liquor store to pick up some wine to take with me to Pocatello. It's one of my contributions to the Thanksgiving feast. I chose two bottles of cabernet sauvignon, and two bottles of sauvignon blanc. I don't know much about wine, but I do know that I usually like these two types. These wines are from California vineyards. I hope they are good.
I think it would be fun to go to a vineyard for a tasting and stay overnight. I wonder if that's a thing? I'm going to look into that.
One more random thing: when I left the office last night, I unconsciously thought, "One down, eleven to go." I did it again tonight, but now it's ten to go. That's ten working days until my last day on the job.
