I began week two of P90X by going through my second round of "chest and back." Basically it's a bunch of push-ups and pull-ups, neither of which I am very good at right now. I didn't try the pull-ups today; I used my bands and I can certainly feel it. On chest and back, you go until failure - literally until your arms cannot push or pull you up any more. It doesn't take long for me. I'm pretty weak in my upper body.
I did better on Ab Ripper today also. It's my fourth time through that workout and although I can't do all the reps, I felt like I did ok.
Day 8 is done - 82 days to go!
Oh, I wanted to comment on Day 7. I asked if you knew if I'd sleep in or get up and do the stretch dvd. Mia commented that I'd sleep. NO WAY! I stretched, and I can't even tell you how great it felt.

Here's what I learned today: the American Red Cross will NOT let you donate blood before the 56th day after you gave blood last time. We had a blood drive at work today, but I was ineligible because it's only been 54 days since I last donated. I knew that, but I thought they'd let me do it because I was so close. They didn't. Oh well. Next year I'll time my donations better so I can give during our St. Patrick's Day blood drive.

My bracket is not completely busted, but I have had some losses. Let's see if UCLA can hold on to beat Michigan State. C'mon Bruins!
OK, I'm off to learn some Spanish. I started level 3 of 5 last night and I'm pretty excited about it. Maybe I'll begin writing a sentence or two in Spanish here every once in awhile. Then my mom can correct it.:)
Buenas noches!
