The men's NCAA basketball tournament begins tomorrow. Oh, I know there were four play-in games on Tuesday, but I don't count those. The tournament begins on Thursday and I'm excited. I love March Madness! It's just about the coolest two weeks in sports that there is. I love that you win or go home. I love when an underdog wins. I love watching how hard these guys play, knowing that everything counts in this moment.
13 years ago I watched the Utah Utes make a run to the Final Four from the hospital when I gave birth. The Utes actually went to the Finals that year, but lost to Kentucky. (I didn't remember who they played; I had to Google it!)
Who will win this year? Did you fill out a bracket? It's fun to fill out a bracket.
To me it makes watching the games even more fun because you have someone to cheer for because you got a little somethin'-somethin' riding on the outcome.
