#504 Friday night for old folks

Finally...Friday. Why has this week seemed so long to me? Monday feels like it was forever ago!

I remember when Friday night was a magical time where I'd be going out to do something fun with friends. Now I can't wait to get to bed. This evening the three of us went shopping for T's birthday present. His Xbox360 stopped working today, so we got him a new one. I guess the timing was good, because we can call it a birthday present rather than just a replacement. I can't even begin to describe how upset and disappointed the kid would be without an Xbox.

MT and I did watch a movie tonight, "Letters to Juliet." We saw it in the theater last summer, and it's cute enough. A little mind candy on a Friday night never hurt anyone, right?

But now it's time for bed. I think because I get up so early during the week, all those evenings I go to bed past when I should and the early mornings just catch up with me on Friday night.

Good night!

I can totally relate to what you're saying about going to bed ;-)
Could it be age? No, it can't, lol.
I uses to, when on conferences and coursess, go out in the evening partying. But now, I just want to go to bed as soon as the course is over. I'm actually going next weekend Friday-Sunday and we study until 7PM when dinner is served. After that I want to go to bed but they have put together some cultural program but I think I will go to my room anyway.
Have a wonderful weekend and give the birthday child, or rather teenager, a big hug from me (I wrote on his Facebook as well).
Hugs for you all from Mia :-)
