#573 beware of auto-correct

There's an auto-correct feature when you text on the iPhone. If you type a word the iPhone doesn't recognize, it will put in a word it thinks you mean. It's pretty handy, because if you misspell a word, it will correct it for you. You do have the option not to use the correction, but you have to pay attention.

Yesterday MT says, "I don't really like the auto-correct thing on texts on the iPhone."

ME: "What happened?"

MT: "I sent a text to one of our subcontractors, and I put my whole name, but it auto-corrected. So it was signed Marty Tampon."

ME: hahahahahahahaha

The moral of this story is to read what you wrote before you press Send.
