#574 three good things, football and a weather report

Today was weigh-in day for me. I lost a tiny amount (.2 lbs) last week, and I thought I'd have another little loss this week, and I did - .6 lbs. I kept thinking about something my leader said last week. She told us about another member that she knows who would take a few minutes to think about all the good things she did in the week, so no matter what the scale said, she knew she had done some things right. Here were my things I did right last week:

I exercised every day.
I made good food choices throughout the week.
I kept my snacking under control.

I would have liked to have seen a bigger loss on the scale. Weight sure is a lot easier to put on than to take off. I'm thankful and happy for any little loss. It's like pennies and nickels. If you get enough of them together, pretty soon you've got a little spending money. If you get enough little losses together, you're getting a five pound star! :o)

It's cold and snowy here today. It was overcast and drizzly in the morning, and the rain turned to snow in the afternoon. It's stopped now and it's just cold. I had to take a nap. It was a good one, too. I burrowed right under the covers and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I love naps!

The Utah football game just ended with the Utes beating UCLA soundly, 31-6 or something like that. The Utes started slow this season, but they're ok. Only a couple more games to go, I think.

T and I bought the final Harry Potter movie this afternoon, and I'd like to watch it, but I think MT is watching a western movie. T is playing his newest video game. Guess I'll do some laundry and channel surf.

Good night all!
