#581 40 things

Today is my little sister's birthday. It's milestone birthday that ends in a 0. To celebrate her awesomeness, I have come up with a list of 40 Things I Know About Lizzie:

1. When she was little, we all called her Isabel. Our dad still calls her that. Our maternal grandfather gave her the nickname Lizzie. She liked it and it stuck.
2. She writes beautiful poetry.
3. She has had two full time jobs since graduating from college. (I'm pretty sure.)
4. Lizzie hosted the Meeting Grace house concert series for several years.
5. She went to massage therapy school. Her fingers are magical.
6. She is friends with lots of cool people.
7. She was a beautiful baby.
8. Her hair was stick straight when she was young. It got all wild and curly later.
9. Lizzie is super smart and started reading at a really young age.
10. She doesn't wear make-up.
11. Her hair turned gray at a young age. She had a cool gray patch that just grew.
12. She used to have a long "tail" in the front of her hair. She wore her hair short, but had a long braided tail.
13. Lizzie was a very good tennis player in high school.
14. She was the first person I told after MT and I decided to get married.
15. She was my maid of honor.
16. We used to meet up for Las Vegas weekends when we were both a lot younger.
17. She has a tattoo on her shoulder.
18. We have been to many concerts together. Many, many concerts.
19. She always got good grades.
20. Her Scrabble skills are wicked good.
21. She likes stories about family history.
22. She drinks Coca-Cola.
23. When she was really little, she carried around a blanket that she would use to tickle her nose. So cute!
24. She is tender-hearted.
25. We went on a driving trip through Montana into Canada with our dad.
26. On the Canada trip, we got pretty drunk in Waterton, Canada.
27. She has a quick wit.
28. Through Lizzie, I have six degrees of separation to lots of cool and interesting people.
29. She has had knee surgery.
30. When she was in college, she spent spring break at my place a couple of times.
31. She loves baseball.
32. She doesn't like boats.
33. She once spent the day in Disneyland in a wheelchair after the knee surgery.
34. We have been to Spain together a few times.
35. When she was little, she had s stuffed teddy bear named "Teddy." I think she still has Teddy somewhere in her house.
36. She loves Jeff.
37. She enjoys spending time with her many friends, and she also treasures quiet time.
38. She spent one summer at my house in Pocatello.
39. No cavities!
40. She is a Beatles girl.
