I'm back in W-ville today. I decided to go ahead and pay the $25 for the checked bag fee so I wouldn't have to wrestle with my suitcase through security. SO WORTH IT! I was much happier. Another bonus thing this morning - I found my lost pink Skull Candy earbuds. I thought I'd lost them on a flight from Long Beach, but when I was digging through the pockets of one of my coats, I found the earbuds. YAY! I know it's a simple thing, but I was happy.
It was foggy in San Jose this morning and there was a possibility that we'd have to land in Monterey and wait for the fog to lift. Fortunately, that didn't happen and we were able to land in San Jose. It was a nice drive through the mountains to Watsonville. I got here in good time and decided to stop for lunch. Our class didn't start until 1:00 and I wasn't sure if there would be food or not.
Here's where I made a good choice: I decided to go to Subway rather than to McDonalds. I really wanted chicken mcnuggets. But then I thought, "If I was at work at home, I'd have Subway, not McDonalds. I should just go to Subway." And then I actually did! I was pretty proud of my good choice. I battled the desire for mcnuggets tonight, too. I went across the street to the grocery store and bought some cottage cheese and apples to put in my fridge here in my room. That's what I had for dinner. YAY ME!
I have a raging headache tonight. I didn't sleep well last night. Osi slept on me, so I couldn't move very well. My knees were aching and my back hurt (why?!?). MT was snoring loudly. I could hear T flipping around on his bed. His box spring is falling apart or something and it squeaks every time he rolls over. I heard him get up and go to the bathroom. I heard him talking and I thought he was on the phone or playing his game. I jumped out of bed and ran into his room, but he was just talking to himself. We both struggled with sleep last night.
Now it's only 8PM, but I'm going to take out my contacts and climb into bed. I may watch a little TV, but I don't think I'll be awake too much longer. So good-night friends!
