It's Thursday, right? I think yesterday I said I'd write on Thursday and Sunday, so thought I might was well start today.
Tonight is my last night in Watsonville for awhile, I think. Today was a good day of training. We learned something that will be applicable right from the "Go Live" of the new software. Some of the other things we've learned will be good when we are able to put it to use, but it seems more important to be able to carry on with business as close to normal as usual at the beginning. What we did today will let us do that. I think all the participants felt the same way.
After class, I went to dinner with one of my classmates, Michelle. We ate at a Mexican restaurant across from the hotel. Man, it was goooooooood! I'm pretty glad I didn't know about it earlier. I had carnitas and they were so tender and delicious. Now I'm really full. Good thing we ate early.
I stayed up late last night to finish the book I was reading. It wasn't that great, but it was ok and I wanted to be done with it. I got up a little earlier than I would have liked this morning because my darling son texted me at 6:15 AM (5:15 AM in California) to let me know that I didn't need to call him because he was already up. So, because I'm tired and because I started a new book and because it's kind of cold here tonight, I think I'm going to crawl into bed and read and get to sleep early tonight.
Happy December everyone!
