#600 full o'Christmas spirit

Holy cow! I've written 600 times on this blog?! WOW! Fun!

I'm feeling very festive and Christmas-y tonight. This evening T and I went to see Hale Center Theater's annual production of "A Christmas Carol." I think this is about the fifth time I've seen it and maybe the fourth for T. The venue is really neat - it's a theater-in-the-round and they do an excellent job with the play. The man who plays Scrooge is wonderful. He's been doing it for over 20 years. One thing that both T and I think is neat is that the cast stands at the exit as you leave the building and thanks you for coming and chats with you. It's really nice.

Since we went to an early show, there was still time to mess around a little and since I don't have to work tomorrow, I decided to stay up a little late and I watched the movie "White Christmas." I bought the DVD for myself this year because I like it so much. I was sitting in my chair, singing along and admiring Vera Ellen's teeny-tiny waste and long, thin legs. She was gorgeous!

Rosemary Clooney looked beautiful too. Those eyes! And who doesn't get a little teary at the end when they sing to the general? What a great show!

Now it's 11:00 and I need to get to sleep. I woke up early this morning, and I'd like to go to yoga tomorrow morning. I found out today that my favorite instructor at the fitness center won't be working there next year - her last day is Dec. 30. She lives in another part of the valley that pretty far from my area, and it's just become too much of a hassle for her to teach at my gym. SAD! She's a great instructor and I'll miss her. I took classes from her three times a week - more if she was a sub for someone else. She said I should come up to the other gym where she works, but it's close to her house and far from mine. Probably won't be doing that. Bummer.
