Christmas greetings from Idaho! MT, T and I are in Pocatello, Idaho celebrating the holiday with MT's family. We started the day with the seven of us who are staying at my mother-in-law's house. We opened gifts and had a nice breakfast which included a nice glass of "Christmas Cheer". That's what we call Bailey's Irish Cream. I like it on the rocks with a little milk. YUM! There are only a few times that you should start the day with a little buzz, and I think Christmas is one of those days.
After breakfast, most of us sat around playing with our electronic devices. I didn't get anything new, but I have lots of fun playing with my beloved iPhone. I also had the chance to "face time" with my family in California. It's the video phone application on the iPhone. It was cool to see my mom, dad and sister on my phone. They got to see me, T, Osi and the snow on the ground here.
In the afternoon, the family starting arriving for the meal. I think there were 21 people here to eat. We had ham, turkey, cheesy potatoes, sweet potatoes, asparagus, Greek salad, fruit salad, rolls and butter, and I think a couple of other side dishes that I can't even remember. There are plenty of pies, cheesecake, cupcakes, brownies, cookies etc for dessert as well. I am so full, I hurt.
There were so many people and so much sensory overload, at one point I had to go downstairs to the cool of the basement to chill out. I watched some basketball (YAY! The NBA is back!) and took a short nap.
Now everyone has gone home. There are six of us in the house. T has gone to his cousin's to spend the night. I think we are going to watch a DVD that I got in my stocking - "The Help" - and call this a happy Christmas.
I hope that everyone who visits this site, whether on accident or on purpose, had a wonderful holiday. If you came here on purpose, thank you and I love you and I wish you very merry and much joy. If you came here on accident, welcome! I wish you much joy and happiness as well and I hope you come back again :)
