#623 let the Weekend of Entertainment begin!

I feel happy tonight because I have the day off from work tomorrow. I planned to take the day off a couple of weeks ago - before my dad went to the hospital. I'm looking forward to sleeping in a little, going to the gym for a nice workout, then going to the spa to have my brows 'scaped and a manicure. After that, I begin my Weekend of Entertainment.

Late Friday afternoon, T and I are going to see a play at Hale Center Theater. We'll be seeing "The Game's Afoot". We enjoy the productions at Hale Center. I'm sure this Sherlock Holmes mystery will be fun.

On Saturday, MT and I are going to see the Zac Brown Band. They sing my most favorite song, "Knee Deep." They are a country band. I don't usually care much for country music, so I hope we don't feel "twanged" out. I've been listening to ZBB's two CDs for a couple of weeks and I like most of their songs. I'll buy MT a beer or two and hopefully he'll like it too. It's usually lots of fun to listen to live music and watch the crowd.

To finish off the weekend - FOOTBALL. I'm especially interested in the late game between the San Francisco 49ers and the NY Giants. Go Niners! My dad always liked the Niners when I was growing up, and now I like them too. The quarterback, Alex Smith, played here at the University of Utah, so I think he's neat.

And now, because I won't be getting up at 5 AM, I'm going to watch the Jazz play the Dallas Mavericks on TV. I may fall asleep before the end of the game, but I'm going to watch for awhile!
