I think he has caught the cold I had, poor kid. His voice sounds deeper and more scratchy today. I think I'll give him some medicine and try to convince him to get to bed a little early. He had a long day today, and I know he's tired.
Can I just take a minute to talk about the Jazz? Tonight they played Game 2 of their first round play-off series with the San Antonio Spurs, and it was AWFUL. It was embarrassing. I could barely stand to watch! It was disappointing. I really wondered if the Jazz would score 60 points. The final score was 83 - 114. That's 31 points. That's a blow-out. It just looked like the Jazz were in slow motion and the Spurs were in hyper-speed. The Jazz would get one shot and four Spurs players would go up for the rebound and five Jazz players would stand there and watch. By the way, the fifth Spurs dude was running down the court to receive a pass for an easy lay-up. It was a slaughter. It was a debacle. It was plain to see who was the class on the court and who didn't belong. I'm sad to say it, but it's true. Now the series comes to Salt Lake for games 3 and 4. I hope the Jazz don't stink up the joint on Saturday night. Regardless, I'll be watching. I'd love to be in the arena, but if not, I'll be happy to watch from my favorite chair in front of my big TV.
Pic of the Day was supposed to be T at the track meet, but since that didn't work out, I had to go with my second favorite photo subject, my beautiful and sweet Osi.
This critter thinks she's a lap dog, so she jumps right up and sits on me when I'm lounging. She doesn't really seem to like it when I stick my beloved iPhone in her face to take a picture, though. She's the only dog I've had who has a brown nose.
See ya tomorrow!
