#875 we're done, February!

It's always been so for me: February has the fewest days of any month of the year, but somehow it seems the longest. Maybe it's because I've had enough of winter and February just keeps winter hanging around. Today was the last day of the shortest month, and although I had some really good days, I'm glad to be moving on to March which is going to be a fantastic month!

But first, let's recap February highlights:

• T and I made it to one Jazz game. We watched the Jazz beat up on the Milwaukee Bucks.
• I had my two major female-related doctor appointments and both were clear of anything bad.
• I enjoyed my mid-month visit with my parents and my sister in sunny southern California. I really appreciated the beautiful weather and the kind hospitality
• I didn't read as much in February as I did in January. I only finished two books this month. I'm really close to finishing a third book, but I've got about 50 or 60 pages and I'm pretty tired. I'll finish it over the weekend.
• My weight loss quest has stumbled and turned into a weight gain fiasco. I had a long hard talk with myself after last week's weigh in, though, and I am back on the wagon now. Stay tuned for more about that.

Like I mentioned above, March is looking to be a fantastic month. Here's what I'm looking forward to:

• My darling son will turn 15!
• Said darling son is a cast member in the school musical which will happen on the 19th through the 21st. I'm excited to see the play! I know a couple of his friends who are in the play also, and I think it will be fun.
• I've got an appointment to get my hair cut next week. Both my mom and my aunt have had their hair done and I need a little hair-do pick-me-up. I am ready to let my hair grow, but this awkward growing out stage is awful. Hopefully my stylist will help me feel good about my hair.
•  At the end of the month, two Major League Baseball teams will be here in SLC to play a spring training game and I'm going! Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners. I love baseball!
• The first and second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament will be played here in SLC and I'm going! So excited about this!!  I absolutely love March Madness and I can't wait to be a part of it.
• T and I are going to Oklahoma City to watch the Utah Jazz take on the OKC Thunder. This trip opportunity is so amazing, I can't even believe we get to go. There will definitely be more about this later!!!
