I've got a busy week ahead, full of fun things that I'm sure will tire me out, but in a good way.
Today we got out of work early because it is the day before a holiday here in Utah. (Tomorrow is Pioneer Day - more on that in a minute.) I decided to go up to the garden to record blooms. The temperature was in the mid-90s, so I turned on the AC in my car and got only hot hot air blowing back at me. GRRR! I just had the AC compressor repaired in June. Why was the AC not working?!?
I zipped through the Children's Garden at record pace. I'm quite sure I missed things, but I wanted to get my car to the shop before it was too late in the day. I got to the shop around 4:30. An hour and a half and $17 later, my AC is fixed. It took so long because they were very busy, and I'm thankful they were able to get my car in at all. The filter was all dirty and gross and blocking the cold air. All is well now!
Tomorrow is Pioneer Day, as I mentioned. What is Pioneer Day? It is a celebration of the day Brigham Young declared, "This is the place." It is a major event here complete with a giant parade and the Days of '47 rodeo and fireworks. So. Many. Fireworks. I'm just happy to have an extra day off in July. Some non-LDS folks like to call it "Pie and Beer Day". LOL
I'm planning to spend the day doing the chores I didn't get around to on Sunday. I was extra tired yesterday. I napped and read all day, then we went to a movie. (Mamma Mia Here We Go Again. Wait for the video.)
On Wednesday we go back to work. That night I'll be volunteering at the TajMo concert at RBG. I'm excited about this show because I like blues. I feel so lucky and grateful that I can see shows in so many different genres!
More live music on Thursday night when T and I see Drake with Migos at Vivint Smart Home Arena. That show should be FIRE. I'm excited about that show, too. The Drake show is the last live music show I have scheduled this month. I will have seen seven concerts in July! WOO HOO! So lucky!!
Friday night I'll be back at RBG to volunteer at the welcome gate for a wedding. Low key and relaxing.
No wedding on Saturday night; it will be the first free Saturday night I've had for awhile. I'll watch Ghost Adventures :)
Have a great week everyone!
