I love Christmas music. I confess I *potentially* listened to Christmas tunes before Thanksgiving this year. I was ready for it! Apple Music has a glorious selection of holiday music spanning every genre you can think of, I think, except maybe rap. I have listened to so many different playlists in the past month, everything from classical music to R & B to crooners to new pop Christmas songs to the classics. It's all good for me. Harry Connick Jr has a new Christmas album out this year as does Alicia Keyes. I've listened to both of those albums a couple of times.
The new album that has my attention, though, is called A Family Christmas by Andrea Bocelli and his children Matteo and Virginia. I listened to it the other day while I was driving to the office, and the music touched every one of my feelings. It's just really lovely. When the three of them sing together, it's like hearing a trio of Italian angels.
I was going to post the video of them singing “Feliz Navidad” but I guess it is just on Apple Music, and I couldn’t figure out how to share it here. There is a 30 minute video (that I haven’t watched yet) in which I imagine they are singing their faces off. I’ll be watching that soon. It is available on You Tube.
If you have a chance, and you are at all interested, I recommend giving the album a listen. It’s nice.
