the end of November

HOORAY! HOORAY!!

I posted every day in November, as per the NaBloPoMo challenge. I didn't post on this blog on Nov. 1, but I did post on another blog that I share with my sister, so I think that counts, especially since I didn't even know about the challenge until Nov. 2 when I read my sister's blog. Anyway...I really didn't think I'd have enough words to post something every day. People who know me are rolling their eyes at that last sentence. Me, without words? Doesn't happen very often.

So so so glad it's Friday. It was a long week after a long weekend and I'm glad to be through it and now the fun and mayhem of December can happen starting tomorrow! There are so many things I'd like to do tomorrow. I want to go shopping for something pretty/festive/that fits me to wear to a nice dinner tomorrow night. The company party is in a week, and though it's not formal like my sister's party (??) I would like to wear something nice. I usually try to find something the afternoon of the party and mostly that doesn't work too well. Then there's the fact that I kinda feel guilty about buying something for myself during the holidays when you are supposed to buy gifts for others. I'll probably get over it, though, especially if I find something that I really like.

I had kind of a rough day at work. I had to talk to a couple of people that I really like and that are really good workers about being tardy. I hate those talks. I think it has to be done though. One of the ladies promised that she'd do better and the other one sort of got an attitude and didn't talk to anyone pretty much the whole day. It was strange and not like her at all. Maybe there was something else going on in her life that I didn't know that affected her.

The Jazz are playing the Lakers tonight here in SLC. At halftime the Jazz have scored 70 points, so I think I'll go watch the 2nd half and hope the Jazz stay hot.

By the way, I finished Twilight tonight. It was a good book and I will read the rest of the series. That makes 6 books I finished in November. That's a lot for me!
