#335 the end of a long week

Is it possible that it was just seven days ago that I was strolling through Disneyland with my son? It feels like it was seven weeks ago! This week seemed so long to me, and particularly today was very long. It just was.

But now it's Friday night. T has a couple of buddies over to spend the night, and they are making boy smells and noises in T's room. MT and I watched a movie, "Drillbit Taylor". I only fell asleep for about five minutes so I don't think I missed much in the overall plot of the film. It's a story about these wimpy kids who get picked on by bullies in high school. The kids hire a bodyguard, Drillbit. I didn't like it when the bullies were picking on the kids. That kind of stuff makes me throw up in my mouth a little. But the movie is a comedy and there were funny parts, and it ends well.

We've got a busy weekend ahead. We have to clean the house so it's presentable on Thursday. We have to shop for the food. I'm going to make a dish I've never made before, just to make sure I can and that we like it. We also want to go to the movies. We'd like to see the new Twilight movie and "The Blindside." Also, I'm getting new tires on my car tomorrow. We also have to buy some window coverings for our front room. Since we painted the room green, I refuse to hang up the green drapes we used to have. The greens don't go together at all!

It's supposed to snow this weekend. I hope it won't, but the wind is howling outside, although it's pretty warm. That's usually not a good sign - you know, the warm before the storm.

That's all I've got for today. Good night!
