#361 my big fat fun weekend

Sunday night already. This weekend was fun; we had lots of stuff going on!

Friday night my BFF LA came into town. She was in the valley to do some shopping with her son, preparing for his mission. (It's an LDS thing. He's going to Mexico.) I was so happy that she chose to drive back to SLC and stay with us instead of staying in a hotel in Provo! It was wonderful to have her around. We didn't do much on Friday night. We visited and she did her nails. I have to say that she did a good job giving herself a French manicure.

Saturday was busy. I went to the gym for my cycling class which begins at 7, but the class was full and I was unable to get a bike! Dang! I was glad the class is doing well, but annoyed that I couldn't participate. Then I went to WW and I gained a pound. That really sucks and I have no one to blame but myself. I better get my ass in gear and get back on track this week. I've come way too far to f*#@ it up now. GRRR. I just growl at myself.

OK. After the meeting, we went to the greatest Jr Jazz game ever, which I wrote about already. LA split to go shopping with Caz, MT and T went to "Avatar" and Dad and I went to see "Crazy Heart". Good movie. You forgot you were watching Jeff Bridges and got into the rather pathetic reality of Bad Blake.

We all trickled back to the house, then T, Dad, LA and I headed downtown to watch the Jazz play the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets were missing their two All-Stars and the Jazz had a relatively easy game, but it was still fun to be there. I really love basketball. I think we were all kinda tired after a big day o'fun.

This morning LA came with me to take Osi for a little stretch of the legs. T refused to leave the house all day, except when he went to Spencer's to play and jump on the trampoline at Spencer's house. Osi likes to jump with them and I suppose it can be a little annoying to share the trampoline with an energetic Springer Spaniel.

Of course this afternoon we watched the Superbowl. I really like Peyton Manning but I love the Saints and Drew Brees. I thought the Colts would hold on, but I was sure excited when that Porter guy picked off Peyton and ran it in for a touchdown! HOORAY SAINTS! Great ending!!

We are excited for the Olympics to begin. I can't wait to watch the Opening Ceremony. I'll always remember the Olympics here in SLC. That was a wonderful two weeks.

All right, that's all I've got for tonight. I gotta make sure I get a bike in the cycling class tomorrow at 5:30, so I've got to get to bed.

I enjoyed watching the game too and was glad the Saints won!
It seems you are all having fun too!
