We are back from our wonderful vacation at Palm Island in the Grenadines. We've had two big travel days. Yesterday we left Palm Island at 9:30, sat in the airport on Union Island for about an hour, had an hour flight to Barbados, then sat around in the Barbados airport until about 5:00. The flight from Barbados to Philadelphia is about 6 hours. We got to Philly around 10:30. By the time we cleared customs and caught the shuttle to the hotel and everything, it was after 11:00. Our wake-up call was at 5 am.
Today we flew from Philly to Denver. That's about five hours. I watched the movie, "Up in the Air." Kinda depressing. The flight from Denver to Salt Lake is just over an hour, but I'm all discombobulated. My body doesn't quite know what time zone it's in. My contacts are all dried out. The good thing is that I'm tanned, relaxed and hap-hap-happy! I've got a dozen stories to tell and photos to share, but all that will have to wait. I'm exhausted!
