This evening has been good. I chatted with my dad on the phone. MT and T are both home and we ate dinner together - nothing fancy, just leftovers from the Olive Garden from last night for them and a bowl of soup for me (I had a big lunch). We didn't turn on the TV. Each of us looked at a book or a magazine and talked to each other. After dinner, T came upstairs to play the video game he rented. MT is browsing for books to load on his Kindle. I washed the dishes, then took my book outside where I sat on the deck in the cool of the evening and lost myself in the world of Sylvie, Diana and Lizzie.
I'm planning to go to bed a littler early tonight. T and I were up late last night because we went to see a production of "The Lion King." I'll have to write about it tomorrow, but I will say the I loved it. The costumes and the singing were wonderful. I felt happy and lucky to be there.
Good night!
