#1284 gorgeous autumn

I was trying to figure out what to write about tonight, so I went to the NaBloPoMo site to check out the October writing prompt. For today, the prompt was "Wordless Wednesday: take a photo of fallen leaves" or something like that. I don't have a photo like that in my photo stream, so I decided to Google fall colors in the Wasatch Mountains. The photo above caught my eye. I've always liked reflection photos and I thought the colors were great.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I hovered over the image and saw that it was taken by my friend Austin Cronnelly! My friend Nicole is Austin's wife. I have really enjoyed watching Austin become a wonderful photographer over the past few years. Check out his website, if you have a minute. It will be worth your time if you like beautiful photos of the outdoors.

I think I have said before that September is my favorite month here in Utah. I was wrong. October is awesome. Cool nights, warm days and gorgeous colors. You can just feel that winter and the holidays are right around the corner. It is beautiful here right now.
