#1317 a random little post

I'm happy to report that I did get out of the house a couple of times today. I went to the WW meeting (up .8 lb, darn it). I also went to the store to get stuff for dinner.

For dinner tonight we had carne asada tacos. There were both corn and flour tortillas, cheddar cheese and queso fresco, limes, cilantro, onions, olives, guacamole and black bean dip. It all tasted pretty good, if I say so myself. :)

This afternoon I watched the last Utah football game of the regular season. The Utes beat Colorado and finished with a record of 8-4 (8 wins and 4 losses) and a record of 5-4 in the conference. Pretty good! Better than last season. I thought they played pretty well today. Their next game will be a bowl game somewhere sometime between Christmas and the end of the year. I enjoyed watching the team this season. Can't believe the season is over already, except for the bowl game.

Tomorrow everyone except Jake, Linda and I are going skiing. Linda and I will go to a mall for a little while. Jake will probably hang out and read. I think I will make lasagna in the crock pot. That way I can get it started in the morning and leave it alone until everyone gets home and wants to eat. Kevin and Janet don't leave until 11 pm; Jake and Linda will spend the night and leave on Monday morning.

Monday morning will be December.

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I can officially and without guilt put Christmas music on my iPod. That is so going to happen tomorrow!

I'm going to go watch the end of the Jazz game on TV and probably get to bed pretty soon. I'm really tired. It's been a busy weekend.

I finished a book! Check out the 2014 Reading List page and scroll to the bottom for the latest book.
