It has been a stay-at-home day for me. Come to think of it, all of us stayed home today. I did some cooking. I made that chili verde I talked about on Friday. It was pretty labor-intensive and it made a LOT of chili verde. I tried a piece of the meat and the spices were spicy. Hopefully it won't be too much for MT to handle. I also made some spaghetti (tried and true) and for a special treat, chocolate chip cookies.
My voice has come back today, but my throat is sore, though not scratchy. The cough is still there and so is the stuffy nose. My ears started to pop today and I feel achy. Colds are the worst.
Now I am sitting quietly on the couch after cleaning up the kitchen. I've taken a couple of Nyquils and I'm waiting for them to kick in so I can get a good night's sleep.
