#2215 that's a wrap, June

June was a month that was full of stuff and thankfully most of it was good!

Let's recap:

  • MT and I bought five bushes and three trees as birthday gifts for each other. We planted them and we are happy to have them. They are all still alive, so hooray!
  • I celebrated another birthday.
  • MT and I had date night in Park City and watched some fun ocean-related films.
  • My volunteer work at Red Butte Garden is going strong. I had about 27 hours this month.
  • At RBG, I volunteered at two concerts: Howard Jones and Lucinda Williams. I enjoyed the music at both shows.
  • Lizzie came to visit on her way back home after her national book tour. I was happy to be able to take the week off to hang out with her. We did fun things like try new restaurants, go on a couple of nature walks, do the ghost tour in Park City, and just spend time together. We finished the week off with a road trip to Las Vegas that included poetry, drinking, and a taste of Guy Fieri's yummy food.
  • MT and I bought another house that MT will renovate and hopefully sell.
  • T is doing well.
  • Osi is starting to show her age but she's still getting along.
  • I finished seven (7) books this month!
  • I even watched some movies!
I'm sure I'm missing some things, but that mostly covers it.
