It is very dry here in Utah. We hardly ever have any humidity, and when we do, it is maybe in the 18 to 20 percent range. Today the humidity was up to 50 percent. It rained at my house this morning, and cooled the temperature down a little and it was nice. By the time I got up to Red Butte Garden, the temperature was in the 80s and the air felt sultry. There wasn't much of a breeze and it was just hot and a bit sticky. I'm not used to that kind of feeling in my high mountain desert home!
Today is a typical Saturday: WW, bloom recording, hanging out in the Courtyard Garden, lunch (cobb salad from Chick-fil-A with grilled chicken) and a bit of time relaxing before I head back up to the garden to be the gate keeper at a wedding. I should be home around 11 tonight and I will be all tuckered out from being outside for a big part of the day.
Scooby's people just came to take him home. He is a nice boy and I'm glad we had him for a few days and I am equally glad that he is going with his people. I might miss him a little bit because he is fun. I won't miss his barking and general gigantic-ness.
MT and T are planning to go see the new Quentin Tarantino movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. They both revere Tarantino as a movie-making God. I might have been interested in going with them, but I am otherwise occupied tonight and dad/son time at the movies is usually a good thing.
Have a great weekend!
