#2298 three things: Christmas shopping, music of the decade, and the book club
1. Christmas shopping. Christmas is a known date. It is ALWAYS on December 25. So why do I feel like the date has snuck up on me this year? Here we are, less than a week away now and I have not shopped for my menfolk. That's not entirely true, to be honest. I've bought a couple of things for T, neither of which he will probably get, and I also bought something for MT, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm heading out on Saturday with a purpose. It's gonna get done. It's gonna be awesome.
On Monday night I shopped for Mom and Lizzie and I did it all on Amazon. I had some ideas and I started scrolling and BOOM I was done. It was awesome. I often suffer from analysis paralysis. I had to let that sh*t go because the time crunch was on. I hope they like their gifts! I liked buying them ;)
2. Music of the decade. I'm kinda slow and just realized that 2019 is the end of the decade. Apple Music has some fun playlists of music from the 2010s. I've been listening to said playlists over the past couple of days it's been a blast. I was surprised that some of the songs were from this decade, like Party Rock Anthem. LOL. It was a good decade: Adele, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Drake, and more of course; these artists just popped into my mind. I like music!
3. The book club. Oh my gosh. I love #EkpesBookClub! It feels like the people who are involved are friends, which is kind of ridiculous because while I have met some of them in person, most of them are just fun people I tweet with. The last few discussions have been friendly and banter-y and it feels good to be part of this group. (Even though I don't so far love the book we are currently reading!)
