#2388 three things that start with B

1. Birds are singing. My bedroom is on the second floor of my house. Our house is on a busy street. Usually all I hear in the morning is car noises, but for the past couple of months, I have heard bird noises. I like it. When I sit out on the deck in the evenings, I can hear birds chirping and watch them flying around. I've even heard the whir and click of hummingbirds. This weekend I might get a bird feeder (and maybe a hummingbird feeder) and put them in a tree that is growing along the fence.

Today I was in the office, listening to 1A on NPR, and there was an interesting segment about bird-watching (and listening). If you have a minute and are interested, check it out by clicking here.

2. Bacon ball. Yesterday T and I went to the store for a couple of  grocery items and I decided to get a toy for Mac. We found this:

It's a bacon-flavored squeaky ball. Mac LOVES it. I bet she carried that toy around for an hour, squeaking it merrily, tossing it and chasing it. Even when she tired of it, the ball wasn't out of her sight. Today we took it outside and I'd throw it so she could chase after it. She's pretty good at bringing the ball back, too. She is part lab, after all. This was an excellent purchase.

3. Birthday eve. Tomorrow is my birthday! I have a couple of things at work that are due by noon tomorrow, and when they are done, so am I. I'm taking the afternoon off! I don't exactly have big plans. I might go to Trader Joe's. I haven't been there for awhile and I need some provisions. I might just sit on the couch, read, nap, and watch Netflix. It's supposed to be hot tomorrow afternoon. Maybe I'll bake some Mississippi mud brownies for my birthday treat. MT says it's wrong for me to bake my own treat, but if that's what I want, what's wrong about it? What to do, what to do? It's my birthday and I'll do what I want!

I'll have to look for a ball like that, it may keep Lulu entertained for 50 seconds lol.

I'm glad you want to get a bird or hummingbird feeder, I derive a lot pf pleasure from them.

And yes, you can do whatever you want. It's your birthday!!!!
