Yesterday I didn't do much. I went to the grocery store and to return a library book. I wandered out of the house without my mask and was halfway to the store when I realized I didn't have it. I came home, got the mask, and put a sticky note on the front door to remind us all to take our masks with us when we leave the house.
Last night the three of us (and the dog) ate dinner outside on the deck. We had grilled burgers, watermelon salad, and chips with dip. Pretty traditional LOL. It was really nice out there until the fireworks started.
Today I haven't left the house at all. I was really tired and napped quite a bit. It is hot and I just wasn't feeling energetic. I napped and read. I made banana bread. I haven't wanted to eat much today. I don't feel awesome. Just run-down, I guess.
Mac is very energetic. Sometimes I think that I am too old to have a puppy. Other times I think that she is keeping me active and on my toes.

As I have said, she is my shadow, so I don't get a lot of time to myself. Right now I am alone. I think she is asleep on the vent downstairs. I took advantage of my quiet time to do some stretching then took a nice cool shower. I have found that I really like to shower in the evening. It is calming and cooling. It feels good.
One of my co-workers has been exposed to COVID-19, so she has been tested but isn't allowed to come back to work until she has the test results. She doesn't work in the office, but a co-worker from the office has to cover for her, and I have to cover for that person. The safety department has a COVID response team that disinfects the area where the woman who was exposed works. It seems like it is to the point now where I know people who are exposed and have to be tested. So far none of those people have tested positive. MT, T, and I don't show any signs of the virus. MT and T don't cough at all. I have allergies, so it feels like I've always got a bit of a cough and a runny nose. Other than feeling tired right now, I've been good.
It's going to be a busy week at work for me. I'll be finalizing quarter-end close and backing up my co-worker who is backing up the woman who was exposed to the virus. I don't really have anything fun planned for the week. I'd like to get out for a bike ride sometime; maybe Saturday morning before it gets too hot.
I spoke too soon. A few fireworks are being detonated out there now. Nothing like last night, thankfully.
Hope you had a nice weekend. Be safe!
