#2540 three things: Costco staples

I went to Costco this week. I bought more than three things, but I realized there are three things that I almost always buy when I go there.

1. Meat. I always buy ground beef and boneless, skinless chicken breast. I can create gobs of meals from these two basic meats. This time I also bought a big salmon fillet. I almost always cook the salmon the same way (baked and covered in teriyaki sauce) because we all like it that way and it’s super easy.

2. Caesar salad and shrimp. These items come from the ready-made meals section. T loves Caesar salad. MT loves salad, but not necessarily the Caesar dressing (or the croutons or the Parmesan cheese). MT will dress his lettuce how he likes it and then we cover the salad with shrimp. Sometimes I’ll get the cilantro lime marinated shrimp. This time I got the classic shrimp with cocktail sauce.  We have salad for two days since there is so much of it. The shrimp just lasts for the first day. It is an extremely easy meal that we all enjoy, so WIN!

3. Toilet paper. I believe I was traumatized in March 2020 when there was no toilet paper to be found in any store anywhere. I vowed I would always have toilet paper stashed in a closet, so now I buy the Costco size toilet paper when I am there. It soothes my soul to see plenty of toilet paper stored in the closet.

Totally agree on the toilet paper, I always like to have plenty in hand (pun intended)
