| A Very Blustery Day - Disney Limited Edition |
Today felt like how this painting looks. I don’t know if it was as windy as the painting portrays, but when I looked out the window, the first word that came to mind was blustery. It was overcast. Rain fell every now and then in sprinkles and spurts. It was the kind of day that made me think how great it would be to lay on my couch underneath my weighted blanket with my books stacked on the coffee table, waiting for my attention. Of course, that’s not how it went down. I was at the office, doing work stuff.
At home tonight, though, I turned on the Jazz game, and made ham and cheese omelette for our dinner. After the meal, I plopped down on my couch with my books stacked on the coffee table and snuggled with Harley. Her sweet, warm, furry body was better than the weighted blanket.
I haven’t done much reading, though. I was too busy playing on my phone and stroking Harley’s silky soft ears. Where was Mac? Gnawing on a bone she found outside. Now Harley has taken that bone and is happily gnawing while Mac stares at her reproachfully and looks at me like I betrayed her.
