Five weeks from today, Lizzie and I will be on our way to Greece! This trip has been so long in the making, that it almost hard to believe that it really is going to happen. We have had some correspondence with the agent that is handling the week in Crete, the whole trip is paid for now, and we will be getting our travel packets from our travel agent within a few weeks. I always say when I get the package from Candice, the trip becomes really real.
At this point, I'm starting to think about what clothes to take on the trip. The weather in Greece will be mild, but the weather in Munich, where we will spend a day, will be decidedly cooler. Gotta pack clothes that can be layered, for sure.
Another thing we are thinking about is how much money to take with us. Both Lizzie and I are planning to get euros here in the States so we won't have to bother about finding a bank in Greece or exchanging money at the airport.
This weekend, I will head over to the craft store to buy art supplies. We already have the list of recommended supplies from the artist we will be spending time with. I'm excited and nervous about the art aspect, but no matter how the art turns out, I'll be in Greece, so it can't be all bad, eh?
It's safe to say I am officially getting excited about this trip.
