#2793 travel Tuesday, subdued

In Europe, the 24 hour clock is used. I switched my phone to the 24 hour clock to avoid having to do the math while I was there, and now I’m used to it and I like it. That pesky AM and PM distinction is eliminated by the 24 hour clock.

I had big plans to write a nice post tonight about my time in Greece. All of a sudden, though, it is 20:00 (that’s 8pm, you know), and I’m getting ready to chat with Lizzie and taking off my shoes for the first time since 06:00. It’s been a long, busy day. My willingness to do produce a nice post is fading.

Instead, please enjoy this photo of the Old Royal Palace which houses the Hellenic Parliament. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is on the grounds and faces Syntagma Square. The guards are handsome, too.
