My colon had her close-up this afternoon. I'm happy to say that all is well, and I don't have to have another colonoscopy for 10 years.
It's been a long 36 hours. I spent the time either sitting in the smallest room in the house, or sleeping in my bed under a mountain of blankets and snuggling with the dogs. Today I did work on a fun little art project - more on that in the future.
Even though I slept through most of yesterday, including the night, I still feel tired. I just had dinner - the first solid food since Saturday evening around 6:30. Now my tummy is maybe overly full, I have big headache, and I'm just ready to lay down again.
A good thing is that I only have to work on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, then it is the Thanksgiving break on Thursday and Friday. I haven't really thought about what I'll do over the weekend. Mostly I just wanted to get through today.
