#522 done with Week 5

Today was the first day of Week 6 of P90X - that's Day 36, so 54 days before vacation! The workout I did this morning was Shoulders, Chest and Triceps. I think I might have mentioned it last week, and I felt the same this morning when I finished - nauseous and quivering. Why am I doing this? Sometimes I wonder. While I'm doing the workout, I'm focused on getting through it and doing the repetitions and maintaining good form. When the workout is over, I'm all sweaty and quivering and wondering why I would torture myself like that. Later in the day, I'm usually glad I did the workout.

What I've noticed about myself after the first five weeks is that I'm way more flexible than I was before and I think I have more stamina, too. I may be getting a little stronger, but I don't really feel it today. Today I feel a little sore.

So glad tomorrow is Friday! T has big plans for the evening. He wants to get a new Nintendo DSi XL. Why? I'm not sure, but there you go.

He and I are both looking forward to visiting my parents next week during Spring Break. This weekend we'll probably head to Idaho to visit the family there. We haven't been to Poky for awhile. It will be nice to get out of town! Hopefully we'll have nice weather.

T just told me that the posts about P90X are pretty boring. I guess they kind of are dull. I'll try to spice it up or just not write about the workouts. I'll just let you know how far into it I am. ??
