#606 at the Jazz game
One of the fun things about my work is that we have a suite at the arena. Sometimes, like tonight, we are lucky enough to get a couple of tickets to the game and sit in the suite. Usually there is food and drink; the seats are good and there's a bathroom so you don't have to stand in line during halftime!
The guacamole that is served in the suite is just amazing. I watched Brenda, our suite attendant, make it tonight. First of all, the avocados are soaked in lime juice and sit, pit side down, until they are ready to be mashed. When the time is right, Brenda lovingly cuts up and smashed the lime-soaked avocados, then she adds a bit of kosher salt, some garlic paste and some chili paste. She mixes these ingredients in well. When the mixing is done, she adds chopped tomatoes, finely chopped red onion and chopped fresh cilantro. She combines all the ingredients together until she has created the perfect guacamole. YUM!
You need to wrap your lips around some of this!
There was other food, too, but the guacamole gets all eaten up every time.
MT and I had a great time celebrating the Jazz win over the New Orleans Hornets 94- 90. Go Jazz!
